Pat Smythe was one of the earliest British female showjumpers in a time when the sport was dominated by cavalry officers. She reached the top with no advantages of money or influence. She was London born with no country background. This is her first instalment of autobiography, from her childhood to her successes with various horses which she trained herself.
Condition: Good. Hardback. Boards are red with gold colour lettering and are in very good condition. The dus-tjacket has some tears in it. Contains black and white photos. Inside pages good. A name inscribed inside cover but no other marks.
