We hear about tramps & street musicians, where wit was a valuable currency.  You get a sense of time passing and one generation growing old and recalling their youth. This collection gives you an insight into Irish culture and the changing times of the 21st century.

The book is in memory to artist Joe Sweeney, whose work features on the cover (from a woodcut Rooks & Kestrel 1995)
