A history of Greece, written in 1849 and republished several times in the same year- so demand was high among scholars and others.

Condition at present 2021 this 170 year old book is in excellent condition. A little mottling but no tears or loose pages. Signed in 1851 by H.J.Hamilton in ink, a student of Greek I presume. The cover is embossed on blue green linen, the spine is khaki green with gold lettering.
